@DIMension10 now I fear the worst for the nice question we listed here, at list if they keep considering any technical questions about advanced topic as homework too, even though they are not. Seems listing these high-level technical questions here did not help saving them :-/.

But I think keep listing them here (and extending the list) is still a good idea, such that we can restore them on the new site from a data dump (where they are not closed or even deleted).

@Manishearth I absolutely and strongly disagree with what EnergyNumbers suggests concerning the treatement of old recommendation questions. However, the idea of keeping the questions and answers that already are in agreement with the new policy and put the other answers into a single community answer seems fair enough IMHO. Emilios worries I do not fully understand, as I thought the new policy basically does what he wants...
