That would be cool, working out who was replying to what is pretty difficult otherwise

Another thing - which is old news, and css so probably not in your department, is that if you rollover a reply to a reply

for example,

the arrow in the preceding message:

is hidden by the rollover highlight (same colour).

why wouldn't css be my department?

yeah, the transcript page is more or less a static page. you can do stuff like starring or flagging from there for convenience, but one obviously shouldn't expect the same kind of realtime interaction as on the live page

Would it be possible to handle starred onebox posts specially in the right-panel list of starred posts? It's be nice if they stayed links but the text was something useful instead of just the URL (the title for SE posts, the text for tweets, etc.)
