Q: Is it possible to include C++ libraries in C programs?

I'm working with a contractor who develops a library for us in C++. I would like to know if it is possible to use that library in a C program. I am using Gcc as my compiler.

Who was it was saying that a straightforward "how do I?" question would invariably get closed today?

(FWIW: that question was used several times as a review audit... To date: 3 failures, 2 passes)

The Arduino can only act as a USB slave iirc. To make it a master you have to either flash a new USB controller to the second chip or do some other crazy magic or get a shield

I have found a number of reasons to close a question of my own: I've found out it's a dupe it belongs on an SE site that didn't exist when the question was asked it is wrong; that is, based on incorrect assumptions, or so bad that I don't even want it answered I think that the original poster...

@hichris123 One reason: if you post a question, and someone points out it's a duplicate (or you discover it on your own beforehand).

I imagine there are other reasons as well.

But that's how I see it used most.
