if you have an iDevice, try it yourself. Typing in a comment field on any SE engine site is brutally slow.. almost comically so

not a big fan of iPad (mostly because it is so very much a V1 device) but it works great on our sites.. 1024x768 is a perfect res for our sites

that said, we do disable the WMD editor on all mobile devices

The problem was that you're not supposed to leave them on for long periods of time, and it's a hassle to get out and put them on at the bottom of a hill and remove them when you get up the hill.

Perhaps they make better ones now.
