Can't remember the one that wasn't legit. The one I truly failed was just me clicking too fast. The Last Answer queue gets cleaned so quick you have to move fast. I've never been able to max that one in a day.

It was the only queue I had left today. I was hoping to finally learn if maxing all of them would earn a hat.

Why do you want it to sync with computer time?

It can (1) be powered by a USB cable, and (2) can be plugged in to a computer to update the time.

@animuson But what crazy science are you doing with your alarm clock that it needs to be that accurate?

(lots of clocks are tuned to the frequency that receives the time of the atomic clock, so even if they don't sync with the computer, they have the right time)

I just hate having to reset my clock every time I unplug it or the power goes out.

I have a clock that connects to the local radio stations, which apparently broadcast the time.

The clock I have takes 6 batteries to remember the time, but even if it's plugged in, it still uses the batteries anyways. So by the time you actually need the batteries, they're already dead...

The indentation isn't random. The editor indented all the code with 4 spaces. Any weird indentations were the fault of the original poster. Looking at it, I'm assuming the OP is trying to indicate that either public or private should be there? I'm honestly not 100% sure.

@ShadowWizard That's not really a good idea. If the spammer is now in a company that uses a single connection to the Internet, then you would ban everyone of that company, because everyone has the same IP.

If you hate hats on Stack Overflow you'll still see them on Meta or here in the chat

It's not per site, but it's a three-state setting: Hate, Love, and Default. If you click "hate" on a site that's not opted in (like Stack Overflow), it'll just put you back in default. If you click hate on a site that is opted in, it'll actually put you in "hate" mode.

@Lance That's one of the reasons I mainly just use the Close Vote queue and Suggested Edits queue. Those other queues get wiped too quickly. I feel rushed. Really, the edit queue is borderline - it moves pretty quickly too.

The trouble is, by the time you've hit "Improve..." and done a thorough edit, you get trumped by the original approved edit.

I might have to turn to some deletions to satisfy my lust for blood.

Usually what happens to me is the app just disappears (sometimes giving me the "send error report" box), or it kicks me back to the initial loading screen, and reloads the hot list.

Could you please give me the documentation for the new API?

I don't feel like going through all of the code and figuring it out.

@hichris It's probably not documented yet because it's not public and stable yet. That is...not a difficult conclusion to draw.

@hichris123 Probably not. But if "just testing the write API, ignore this" posts are going to start appearing, we'll consider that abuse. And anything you do accidentally with the API because you didn't know what you were doing, will be considered deliberate and handled just like you did it deliberately via the website.
