Any recommendations for a hosting service? Looking at basic web hosting or VPS options. Like seriously, my website has been offline with an open support ticket for 24 hours... Totally unacceptable...

Interesting that one of their data centers is in the middle of the desert...

They usually do. My average response time is normally less than an hour with them. But their downtime / server problems have been increasing rapidly and it's getting kind of annoying, and my "High Priority" support ticket has been sitting un-replied for just over 29 hours.

I brought it to the attention of the developers as I reproduced it earlier, I thought it was just some kind of temporary glitch

It's possibly just something off with the CDN, they'll figure it out soon I'm sure

On the votes tab, when I look at close votes, some of them say "(deleted)" underneath the word "closure".

I find this confusing, because the question is not deleted.

It looks like it indicates that the close vote has been "deleted" (because the question is closed, or the votes have aged away).

Which I guess makes sense. "Deleted" applies to the vote, since I'm on the votes tab.

I see it is as I suspected. And I agree with Shog9 that there's no reason for us to see that.

I guess the idea was that it's somewhat confusing if you click the link only to find that there's no pending votes, even though it said you cast one.

But I'm not sure if that happens often enough that said situation would be more confusing than seeing the expiration notice.
