Well, technically speaking the deleting and undeleting of the question has nothing to do with the bounty. If you use the physical metaphor for a bounty, it's served its purpose, gone, used, etc.
That's always the argument put out when people cry over the fact that their bounty hasn't gotten them answers ("it has gotten your question attention!")
