@bal - I actually like it when some old content is bumped to the top. Obviously for the veterans its a bit annoying cause its stuff they've seen - but for me its nice to have my daily SO history lesson :P

it's just that meta.so is our no. 1 place to go to for, you know, "what's broken, what's up, what to work on"

@balpha I did not know that they get pump to the top. On SO I did the same ;) but there is no such priority ranking

if you sort by "active", they always bump to the top. SO is kinda special since the homepage has the "interesting" sort

this is really just an issue on meta.so, where the site moonlights as an issue tracker

water line in my apartment exploded last night - 2am in the morning mopping up a flooded kitchen... not fun :/

no - I managed to move everything away - but it still took me bout 15mins to find where to close the water mains.... in the end had to turn off water to the entire building... oh... want a fantastic way to start a week....

And i'm on my phone talking to my GF with my head inside the water fountain... not a good idea :P but my phone survived...

I had tried to grab tickets, but I was a bit slow this year and missed out. Not too many exciting tech-related things happen in this area, but one of my coworkers who's gone before said that this conference is quite good.

Had an exam(went nicely..but tiring... ) so couldn't get free waffles

Aah, broke my free-waffle-streak :/

(it is my firm belief that rep earned after hitting the cap can be redeemed for free waffles)
